Ronnie L. King

Ronnie L. King is a retired Purchasing Manager and native of Dayton, Ohio. As a student of the Dayton Public School System, Ron graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1974. Ron attended The Ohio State University earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration.

Ron’s career, that extended more than 34 years at Honda North America and Rockwell International, involved holding several management positions in procurement diversity, cost control, strategic and new model planning.  These positions required strong analytical skills, leadership, and academic achievement.

Ron and his wife Mary have been married for 29 years and are proud parents of three adult children.  Similar to Ron, Mary and their children have also achieved higher education and careers serving many industries.

Ron’s message to young people is simple: “Be honest, lead not follow, set high academic standards for yourself, be a good citizen and success will be promising.”
